So I went out with my friend Tiffster and we had a delicious dinner together. We often meet up and try new restaurants. We went to Mezes on the Danforth and although the food wasn't too dissimilar from the all other Greek places around there, which is why I don't go very often, the restaurant was beautiful and there were so many more options for sharing like dips or platters.
Her birthday gift to me was to take me horseback riding, but sadly we were informed that it's too muddy to do right now, so I'll have to wait until the fall...oh well! It'll make for prettier pictures. Right now, we are conspiring an adventure next year, but I can't tell you just yet, except it's started to take up my brain which is really BAD because I'm leaving in 20+ days and all I've done so far is buy a suitcase... Anyways, then we headed over to our old high school (Nostaaaalgiaa...) to see a fashion show (her idea). It was pretty fun, though to me most of the choreography reminded me of West Side Story...
Case and Point. Whatever that means...
Then when we left, it was POURING and my little Tiffster had no umbrella or means of protection whatsoever so we ducked into a McDs and I treated her to a cone whilst she sat under the hand dryer. Just kidding, she didn't, we just laughed at the news headlines and determined that despite the thunder and lighting, our country is a pretty safe place to be right now. xx
(Also, don't tell her about this entry because she'll kill me if she knows I posted photos of her on here.)

Sounds like a fun day, even without horseback riding! Happy birthday!
