24 followers in time for my birthday on the 24th! Must plan soon as I am running out of time!

Life is hectic but I am happy. Last class of the year tomorrow night, then exams throughout April but hopefully adequately spread apart. My incoming income has let me afford purchasing a flight to Europe! However it came to 666.00, and I'm not sure if I should take that as a bad omen, what do you think? I'm almost hoping there's some kind of tax or handling fee that'll round it a little bit.
Basically things on my to do list are getting down and I'm feeling somewhat in control. It's my mom's birthday soon and she's bought herself a laptop. I'm thinking of picking her up chocolate, a new cheek blush, lobster dinner and...I'll hopefully come up with more...

What do I want for my birthday? I'll write out a list soon enough.

Also, randomly got a free bike yesterday! It's got racing handlebars and it's light blue. I'll post some photos soon, it'll be my new activity will be to fix it up with my friend BG. He and a few of his friends are participating in the 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer! Here is their FB Group.

Now that uni is basically done for awhile I can concentrate on my life, my room, my to do list and on my summer plans.

Must be funny

See what I did there? Yes...a new layout. Let's try you on for size...I've realized a few things this month and I feel like I'm getting closer to the things I want and want to be. Funny how the moment you actually dedicate yourself to consciously save money, all these random fees and fines and expensive drinks pop up. Though I consider myself rather lucky because I usually find at least a penny each day and have learnt how to save. When my jar is full I'll cash it in and see how much I've got. Luckily I've got some income coming in for the next weeks, though I'm not a big spender anyways. I'll be saving up for summer! We'll see how it goes... xx

Dear me,

stop procrastinating!!

I'm going to a secret destination Friday night, here is a hint, Grande Pomme, and in the mean time I NEED to catch up, but what I am doing? Putting off work due in like 3 hours and watching episodes of How I met your Mother... The sky is blue and it makes me smile, I feel a lot better, though I keep waking up with really painful muscles so my doctor's appointment tomorrow should hopefully clear it all up.

However I am slightly freaked out. I like to imagine myself as a jet setter, as a nomadic gypsy, but who am I kidding, I'll have to pack for four nights worth and spend several hours on buses and if I can't even come up with an impromptu presentation, who knows how this will go. BUT WHO CARES, it's going to be amazing!

Things are going to go well soon, I know it. As long as I concentrate on what I need to do. And I just got a job offer out of the blue which makes me happy, though I'll keep looking for a real job, there are few places I still want to apply. I need to save my pennies for the amazing summer I am looking forward too.

Why hello! I've got this sudden burst of energy to clean up my room. I deserve a nice room, don't I? I'm free tonight to I'm going to do as much as I can, then worry about reading afterwards. Also got a Toga Party of sorts tomorrow, pretty excited about that.

Today in lit lecture, we met Lynn Crosbie and there are no words to describe her. Personally, however, I was not a big fan of Liar, though after hearing about her other works I want to rush out and grab myself a copy to read them. You know when

you really don't match the author to the works?

Speak of which, RIP Salinger, Catcher in the Rye was the best part of high school as I'm sure so many others claim it to be. I've got a few of his books and I never bothered to open them, sadly, his death will remind people of his work and have them reading him again. I wonder if they will make a Catcher in the Rye movie, wouldn't that be interesting...though they'd use like...Zac Efron and that would cause much displeasure in the literary world, I'm sure...

Alright, I've got an avocado sandwich in my tummy and I'm ready to go :) Let's see how much I can get done before I sit back down to watch more episodes of LOST, final season fast approaching!! I am now on...Season 3 Episode 3, steadily catching up. What a geek!
