CBA = Can't be arsed.

I think I'm going to do the unthinkable and have a shower today...I'm reading Jimmy Corrigan - The Smartest Kid on Earth, it's just...so...sad. I can't wait to hear what the Prof thinks about it in lecture. I'm still in my pjays eating fruit salad and yogurt, the sky is blue and I've got so much work to do, but I'm stuck on Wikipedia, learning about Michelle Kwan...okay none of that!!

Going to make tomato and bocconcini salad for lunch. Don't tell him, but I've got yummy ideas for when I see Paul, also to prove to myself that I can be able to a) cook, b) put these cooking 'skills' to good use, c) make some one smile as a result, and maybe d) drool a little...Everyday my room gets better looking, but it's gotta move faster, it's kind of weird to think about where my room is...on the top left corner of the second building... Each time I'm walking I home, I look up and think of that corner like the corner of a chocolate bar and how my desk is right on the inside there, and that's where I walk about and sleep...

There's this idea of going to New York, but seriously, sometimes plane tickets make NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. I remember once looking at a flight to Paris and a flight to London...The flight to London cost twice as much as Paris but the flight to Paris made a stop at Heathrow! How weird is that? You might as well buy your ticket to Paris and then leave half way through...Maybe I SHOULD try and be a flight attendant and see if I get any insider knowledge in regards to that...

Also, did you watch Lost on Tuesday? (Who didn't...they rescheduled the State of the Union to air it...) Wow so much rambling...here's to getting through the next week!xx

Squalor

Why hello! I've got this sudden burst of energy to clean up my room. I deserve a nice room, don't I? I'm free tonight to I'm going to do as much as I can, then worry about reading afterwards. Also got a Toga Party of sorts tomorrow, pretty excited about that.

Today in lit lecture, we met Lynn Crosbie and there are no words to describe her. Personally, however, I was not a big fan of Liar, though after hearing about her other works I want to rush out and grab myself a copy to read them. You know when
you really don't match the author to the works?

Speak of which, RIP Salinger, Catcher in the Rye was the best part of high school as I'm sure so many others claim it to be. I've got a few of his books and I never bothered to open them, sadly, his death will remind people of his work and have them reading him again. I wonder if they will make a Catcher in the Rye movie, wouldn't that be interesting...though they'd use like...Zac Efron and that would cause much displeasure in the literary world, I'm sure...
Alright, I've got an avocado sandwich in my tummy and I'm ready to go :) Let's see how much I can get done before I sit back down to watch more episodes of LOST, final season fast approaching!! I am now on...Season 3 Episode 3, steadily catching up. What a geek!

Quick list for memory's sake: (dont get mad)

    • Budapest, Stockholm
    • Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona
    • London, Edinburgh, Dublin
    • Cefalu, Rome

    • New York, Chicago, Vancouver, Tallahassee

I've got my blog page open so the music can play and I can dance around the room, though I should probably update that silly thing...:) xx

Humbuggery

Between Christmas and I, It's Complicated. Not a big fan, not gonna lie. But...I eventually give in when I think of all the yummy foods I'll be seeing that only come around this time of year.

My room is coming along but I really have too many things. How is it possible since this room is bigger than my last ones? Sadly they all have some meaning related to them...Berlin, Elementary school, jar of rocks from Sicily, Harry Potter craze, Spice Girls craze...so slowly but surely, some will have to be eliminated. It might be awhile before my room is exactly as I want it to be. Not a fan of the wall colour either, but that will certainly need to wait.

I've been watching LOST, I want to catch up before the final season. Gosh I love that show so much!! This photograph was taken by Paul at his work in the lab. He's gotten his images in the calendar too! I imagine this one looks a lot like the universe. That reminds me of the ending of MIB.

I've been working hard these past days with barely any breaks inbetween. I seriously need some relaxos! but I really want to get it all done ASAP. School begins the fourth, which is ridiculously lame, and I need to buy my German textbook and my French Culture textbook. I hope I enjoy those classes. My worst case scenario was that I dropped one and take another Science Seminar instead. Thus completing my Science credit. I loved 'Biotechnology and Society', thanks to Paul for making me go for it, rather than 'Marine Animals and their Environments'.

Happy Holidays!
xx
