For my birthday, I had my first ever Mani & Pedi at MNails on the Danforth and it was one of the best, fun, relaxing and girly things I've ever done and I got to do it with two of my bestest girlfriends! 

Look at how much attention I'm getting!! Doted hand and foot!

In real light, the colour is much more of a coral pink (Hot & Spicy by O.P.I.) and I got a clean french pink (I've got a Tempura) on my hands, but I got the toe designs done for free when she heard it was my birthday!! I'm definitely coming back, the owner even gave me a hug and a fortune cookie before I left!

24 followers in time for my birthday on the 24th! Must plan soon as I am running out of time!

Life is hectic but I am happy. Last class of the year tomorrow night, then exams throughout April but hopefully adequately spread apart. My incoming income has let me afford purchasing a flight to Europe! However it came to 666.00, and I'm not sure if I should take that as a bad omen, what do you think? I'm almost hoping there's some kind of tax or handling fee that'll round it a little bit.
Basically things on my to do list are getting down and I'm feeling somewhat in control. It's my mom's birthday soon and she's bought herself a laptop. I'm thinking of picking her up chocolate, a new cheek blush, lobster dinner and...I'll hopefully come up with more...

What do I want for my birthday? I'll write out a list soon enough.

Also, randomly got a free bike yesterday! It's got racing handlebars and it's light blue. I'll post some photos soon, it'll be my new activity will be to fix it up with my friend BG. He and a few of his friends are participating in the 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer! Here is their FB Group.

Now that uni is basically done for awhile I can concentrate on my life, my room, my to do list and on my summer plans.

A couple things about me that have changed since last year, I'm stronger in some ways and not so much weaker in others but...I want to spend more time on them. I have lost a lot of weight and stopped dying my hair somewhat, and I'm not so afraid of making mistakes anymore, (except for handing in essays on time). I would however like to spend more time on myself. Actually make my creative ideas and ambitious thoughts happen! As well as the things a soon to be twenty year old should do...
Also, my birthday was depressing last year and I won't let that happen again, and I'm going to get my nails did with some girls! :]

Also, I've decided to start speaking like Ke$ha, because I love hurr, though in an interview, the way she spoke of music and her love for it was very different from what her songs are in reality...

I will be twenty in precisely one month.

Why do I dislike birthdays so much? What should I do? Alone on my birthday, where do I go? Why do I feel like I'm turning sixteen again? No matter how much I've accomplished, I always feel like I've done nothing.

Shut the fuck up and pull yourself together. This is your chance.

One thing is for sure...I'm terrified.

The weather is miserable but I feel pretty good, I'm just having anxiety attacks regarding all the things that need to be done this week, but Friday afternoon I'll be leaving to see Paul!! :] I'm so excited, you have no idea. I've done a lot of 'brave' things lately and I'm pretty proud of myself, and it makes it ten times better when someone else tells you they're proud of you. When I have kids, I want to be one of those insanely supportive parents who will frame their kindergarten artwork and reward them with a trip to Disney Land...is that too much? I've never been to Disneyland, I wish I had been, so I'll most likely end up bringing my future spawn there. My parents brought my brother to the one in Paris, he was obsessed by Mickey Mouse comic books, I used to read them too, he also had Dylan Dog comics and I loved those, have you heard of them? I wonder where they are now...

ALSO, if you're in the King & Jarvis area, don't go to Biagio. It's a beautiful restaurant in the St. Lawrence area, but the owner really takes advantage of the 'italian' menu and the portions are smaller than a french restaurant...my friend had a birthday dinner there and it was so much fun and the plates were beautifully presented, but the rude waitress, awkward 600 bill and the lack of fullness...made it a bit funny.

So busy...I'm going to EXPLODE.

• Sociology midterm tomorrow, study sesh in library today and catching up on reading tonight.
• German Quiz today, got to print off some helpful notes.
• French Culture Midterm, got to catch up on Guy de Maupassant, read over notes
• followed by, Literature Essay due on Friday, topic: Sylvia Plath + Ariel :]
